They may reference the same business. There is no entry for the address in the 1945, 1948, 1950, 1951, or 1952 Charlotte City Directory. Neither could I find a matching entry in Greenville, Hickory, Wilmington or Winston-Salem, though each had a 1600 4block and Winston-Salem and Wilmington's South 4th Street was part of a black neighborhood.
