Detailed History
Hall's Beauty Parlor This shop is listed in the Green Book at 322 North Tarboro Street, Raleigh, but is listed in the 1954 City Directory at 323 North Tarboro Street, placing it in an extant 4-store commercial building across the street. The 1950 Sanborn map did not yet show the building footprint. The student report focused research on 322, saying that "the structure appeared to be standing during online research as a residential home. When investigated further in-person for photographs, the building was no longer standing." —Andrew S. Edmonds
