City Barber Shop This shop is listed in the Green Book at 200 East Thomas Street, Raleigh, an address that has never exitsed in the city. However, there is such an address in Rocky Mount and the 1952 City Directory indicates that William T. Grimes had a barber shop at this, extant location (ED0555 Commercial Building). Likewise, the Dixie Restaurant at 106 East Thomas Street was listed in the 1950 and 1951 Green Books under the Raleigh heading, but by 1952 had moved under the Rocky Mount heading. —Andrew S.
